The newest Orion’s Quest mission focuses on Stem Cells in Space! This newest mission is for high school, and other missions are for elementary and middle school.
Orion’s Quest engages teachers and students in authentic space-based research through live or virtual “missions.” Missions are free, standards-based, and manageable in scope for easy integration into curriculum. In each mission, students analyze photo and/or video data downlinked directly from the ISS and submit their findings to scientists, making real contributions to world-class research aboard the ISS! Choose from missions that focus on butterflies, plants, microbes, spiders, stem cells, and more.
Each mission features:
- Correlated classroom activities
- Analysis of actual experiment photos and/or videos
- Optional extension materials
